Appearance:
How to describe Rainleaf? Well, lets start off with her paws. Small and rounded, with pads of a dull gray, they are very young looking, and not exactly 'strong'. Silvery claws are always out of their sockets, and some say she cannot put them back. She can. She just doesn't like to. From there upwards, you can see her legs. They are quite long and bony to look at. Each bone has a thin sheet of muscle around it, the tendons and joints strong. She isn't exactly strong though, so fighting is not something you will ever see her doing.

A long tail flows from the end of her spine, equally as thin as her legs, maybe even more so. It is coated in a layer of very fine hairs, and she has a small bump at the tip, where her bones healed after she broke the tip of her tail. Her spine carries on though her body, no bones out of place or seen in light. A large rib-cage is attached, with strong lungs and heart hidden inside. She has a rather small frame, and is quite small anyway. Height isn't on her side, nor is presence. But, she does have a very potent air around her.

Her skull is rounded to perfection, and two eyes of liquid amber gaze out from their sockets. Rounded ears sit atop her head, not as good as her other senses. It seems as if she has traded good hearing, in aid of good eyesight and smell, for her job of course. Rainleaf's body is covered in a layer of hair, all short and fine. Coloured a stone gray, close to black actually, it is a reminder of her StormClan heritage.

Personality:
Even though Rainleaf is starting on her adult years, she is a very closed cat. Only one or two others can be called a friend in her eyes. The dark gray she-cat likes to keep her personal thoughts to herself, hardly ever revealing her inner most emotions to anyone other than a select few. You would think that her family would be on her list, but you are very wrong. Rainleaf would hardly tell her family anything about her 'personal self'.

Despite keeping a locked door on herself, Rainleaf is incredibly calm. You can normally find her humming away to herself as she walks, making up little tunes and lyrics as she goes. Taking her life seriously isn't something on her list, but she does like to formulate many plans to catch her prey in many different ways such as; stalking, chasing and other things like that. Rainleaf prefers to use brains over brawn any day, seeing as she is lacking in the 'brawn' department.

Wandering around, looking for herbs, is often what she does to pass the time. Her extensive knowledge on all things green and scented precedes her most of the time. She is very caring, which is why she wanted to be a medicine cat. Unable to stand seeing any cat in pain, she will do anything to help them, in rare cases, even if it means giving up her own life.

History:

Rainkit

Rainkit was born to two majestic warriors; Ravenfeather and Silentsong. As you can probably guess from the name, Silentsong was mute. Never did she talk and Rainkit soon learned to go by signals and body motions. Do not get me wrong, but Silentsong was a very loving and caring mother, but it worried Rainkit down to the core. Ravenfeather was, and still is, a great warrior for StormClan. He caught prey, protected the camp, and stayed at his mate's side when she needed him most. Rainkit could have never asked for a better family than this. Sadly, Rainkit stayed with her mother more than playing around with the other kits in the Clan. She wanted to find a 'cure' to fix her mother's muteness..but, alas, she figured out that the problem was one of those that could never be fixed. With a broken heart, Rainkit never wanted to be a warrior. She decided to become a Medicine Cat Apprentice. Helping others in times of need instead of going into a war.

Rainpaw

Nothing too interesting happened in her apprentice hood- except the fact that she got to know about almost all of the herbs and remedies out there to help her Clan mates in need. There was even a time when White-eye got attacked by a badger along with some of his Clan mates, with-which made him loose his eye site forever. Rainpaw catered to his every need now that he was condemned to live amongst the elders. But, it was almost time for her apprentice-hood to come to an end and Frost-tail, her mentor, to make room for another Medicine Cat in the Clan. And it seemed like only days ago that she started to walk and talk and eat.

Rainpaw was eager to become medicine cat..

I, Frost-tail, medicine cat of StormClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of a medicine cat, and with your help she will serve her Clan for many moons. Rainpaw, do you promise to uphold the ways of a medicine cat, to stand apart from rivalry between Clan and Clan and to protect all cats equally, even at the cost of your life?

Then by the powers of StarClan I give you your true name as a medicine cat. Rainpaw, from this moment you will be known as Rainleaf..

Rainleaf earned her name due to the fact that her gracefulness carries her body- like a rippling leaf in leaf-fall - and her burning amber eyes. From that ceremony on, Rainleaf has taken pride and respect towards her duty in StormClan.
